CLIANT: SARA CRAFT RAMEN & BAR

SARA Craft Ramen & Bar is a ramen bar in Melbourne serving authentic craft ramen and a wide variety of drinks.
Rooted in Japanese ramen culture and enhanced with fresh local, seasonal ingredients and creative twists, each bowl offers a unique experience you can only find here.
In its modern yet inviting space, guests can enjoy not only ramen but also small plates, cocktails, and craft beer.
This blend of innovation and the delicate flavors and artistry of Japanese cuisine is also reflected in the logo design.

SARA Craft Ramen & Barは、メルボルンで本格的なクラフトラーメンと多彩なドリンクを提供するラーメンバーです。日本のラーメン文化をベースに、地元の旬の食材や独創的なアレンジを取り入れた一杯は、ここでしか味わえない特別な体験です。 モダンで温かみのある空間で、ラーメンはもちろん、おつまみやカクテル、クラフトビールなども楽しめます。そんな新しさと日本料理の繊細な味や表現をロゴでも意識してみました。

Born, Grow and Create
“Creema” is a place where people from various fields can thrive and find fulfillment, and I am one of them.
I expressed the idea of “Creema”—the act of creating, or bringing something from zero to one—through an egg-shaped puzzle.
Born: to be born, Grow: to grow, and from there, Create: to create again.
The design uses the image of various animals emerging from an egg-shaped puzzle to symbolize this process.

「Creema」は様々な人が様々なジャンルで活躍し、やりがいを見出せる場所で、私もその一人です。そんな「Creema」を、クリエイトすること＝0から1まで生み出すこととして卵のパズルで表現しました。Born：生まれて、Grow：育って、そこからまた創造するCreateを、卵型のパズルからさまざまな動物が出来上がる様子で例えてデザインにしています。

NEO NICE BURGER

ネオ・ナイス・バーガー

Neo Deliciousness.
Handcrafted. Not Compromised.

The symbol logo was designed using the lowercase initials “nn” of the brand, stacked horizontally to resemble a burger, combining the strength of a recognizable symbol with a playful touch.
A small, slightly melted cheese-like triangle was added to enhance the burger feel and add more playfulness.

The brand’s duality—craft × casual and sincerity × street—is distilled into this simple form.
It’s a logo intended to leave a lasting impression and naturally evoke a sense of connection with the viewer.

The color palette is limited to blue and white, expressing the brand’s sincerity and freshness.
Embracing the beauty of subtraction by eliminating clutter, the design balances playfulness with practicality.

ブランドの頭文字「NN」の小文字をモチーフに、横に重ねてバーガーを表現し、記号としての強さと遊び心を兼ね備えたシンボルロゴを制作しました。小さくとろけたチーズっぽい三角形を加えることで、よりバーガー感と遊びを意識しています。
「クラフト×カジュアル」「誠実×ストリート」というブランドの二面性を、シンプルな形に凝縮した象徴です。見る人の記憶に残り、自然と共感が生まれるようなロゴにを意識しています。
カラーは青と白のみで構成し、ブランドの誠実さ・爽やかさを表現しています。ごちゃつきを排除した引き算の美学を大切に、遊びと実用のバランスを意識したロゴデザインです。

LIMOCHISO

リモチーソハーブティ

Limochiso Herbal Tea is made with Rimochiso—a new variety of red perilla with a distinctive lemon aroma—jointly developed by Rankoshi Town in Hokkaido and Kyoto University (variety name: Shimoadachi).
This unique herb is blended by herb specialist Kaoru Ohsumi to create a refreshing, aromatic tea.

The packaging features vivid herbal tones as its base, adorned with illustrations of the distinctive new perilla variety, visually expressing the tea’s vibrant and beautiful character.
When brewed, the herbal tea reveals a strikingly vivid color and a refreshing lemon fragrance that soothes the senses.

Beyond tea, Rimochiso is also used in gin, craft beer, drink bases, balms, and more.

北海道蘭越町と京都大学が共同開発した、レモンの香りが特徴の新品種赤紫蘇「リモチーソ（品種名：下阿達（しもあだち））」を、ハーブのスペシャリスト大澄かほるさんがブレンドされた、リモチーソハーブティー。 鮮やかなハーブの色をベースにしたパッケージに、特徴的な新種の紫蘇のイラスを施して鮮やかで美しいハーブティをパッケージでも表現しています。 ハーブティーは淹れるととっても鮮やかな色で、さっぱりとしたレモン香にとても癒されるハーブティーです。その他にも、ジンやクラフトビール、ドリンクベースやバームなどに展開されています。

TOASA MURA

とあさ村

With the graduation of the owner’s second son—who has an intellectual disability and autism—from high school, she was inspired to create a place where people with disabilities can live together with the local community through nature, herb cultivation, and farming.
This vision led to the founding of “TOASA MURA” (Nature Experience Farm TOASA Village).

The overarching concept is “Coexisting with nature, coexisting with the community, and simply being ourselves.”
Our branding aims to convey warmth and approachability.

For the visual identity, I illustrated trees and animals hidden beneath fabric, symbolizing the idea that no matter the appearance, form, or personality, everyone coexists together.

Over the years, I have designed a wide range of materials—including brochures, the website, herbal tea packaging, egg cartons, and event posters—continuing as a long-term creative partner in their journey.

知的障害と自閉症のある次男の高等部卒業をきっかけに、地域の自然、ハーブや農作物の栽培を通して障害があっても地域の人と共に暮らせる居場所作りを実現させようと考え、「自然体験農園とあさ村」は誕生しました。 「自然と共存し、地域と共存し、私達がある。」ということを全体のコンセプトに、親しみやすさや温かみのあるブランディングを目指しました。 VIは、布に隠れた木や動物をイラストにし、どんな姿形や個性を持っていていもみんなが一緒に共存しているイメージで作っています。 パンフレットやウェブサイト、ハーブティ、卵、イベントポスターなど様ざなまデザインをしていますが、長年パートナーとして一緒に走り続けています。

MATSUMOTO BREWERY

松本ブルワリー

Matsumoto Brewery is a craft beer brand born in Matsumoto City, Nagano, surrounded by the pristine waters and rich natural beauty of the Northern Alps.
Harnessing the blessings of the local environment, we brew high-quality beers ranging from pale ales and IPAs to limited seasonal creations, delivering the depth and diversity of craft beer.

When you open the website, the first thing you see is the vast Northern Alps. Using the brand’s signature color—a pure alpine blue—as the base, subtle motion effects invite viewers to explore and discover the care and craftsmanship behind Matsumoto Brewery.
On the beer lineup page, each variety is presented with details that make learning about its unique character both engaging and enjoyable.

松本ブルワリーは、北アルプスの清らかな水と豊かな自然に囲まれた長野県松本市で生まれたクラフトビールブランドです。 地元の恵みを活かしながら、高品質なビールを醸造。ペールエールやIPA、季節限定の特別醸造まで、幅広いスタイルを通してクラフトビールの奥深さを届けています。 ウェブサイトを開いて第一に目に入るのは広大な北アルプス。ブランドカラーでもある、北アルプスの清らかな青をベースに、動きを加えることでより目も楽しくより松本ブルワリーのこだわりをのぞいてもらえるよに意識しています。ビールラインナップページでは様々な種類のビールの特徴を楽しんで見てもらえるような工夫をしています。

HERB LETTER by TOASA MURA

とあさ村のハーブレター

“The Herb Letter from Toasamura – Arriving Just When You’ve Forgotten About It”

At Toasamura, we carefully hand-pick each herb, wash them thoroughly, and dry them slowly at a low temperature.
Our organically grown herbal teas are blended with seasonal variations and delivered nationwide so that everyone can enjoy them easily and deliciously.

I created the Herb Letter with the hope of bringing a moment of relaxation to those who receive it.

When will it arrive?
What kind of blend will it be this time?

It can be enjoyed as a surprise herbal tea for yourself or given as a thoughtful, unexpected gift for someone special.
I wanted the design to convey a gentle feeling, sparking curiosity about what kind of place Toasamura is, and perhaps inspiring someone to visit someday.
This is our gentle herbal “letter” from the farm.

『忘れた頃にやってくるとあさ村ハーブレター』 とあさ村で１つ１つ手摘みで丁寧に収穫し、洗い、低温で乾燥させた、とあさ村の有機栽培ハーブティを、気軽に美味しく飲めるような、季節ごとに変わるブレンドの内容で全国にお届けします。 このハーブレターを受け取った方々に、癒しの時間を届けられたらと思いハーブレターを企画しました。 いつ届くのか？ どんなブレンドが届くのか？ 自分へのサプライズハーブティーとして、誰かへのサプライズプレゼントに使ってもらえたら。そんな優しい気持ちやとあさ村ってどんなところなんだろう？いつか行ってみたいな。そう思ってもらいたいと思い、優しいハーブのお手紙を意識してデザインしています。

YAKIIMO TASMANIA

I designed the branding for a company in Australia that sells authentic Japanese roasted sweet potatoes and dried sweet potatoes.
The brand’s concept is “A comforting sweetness and a wholesome, natural snack.”
Through the logo, packaging, and promotional visuals, I aimed to convey the simple charm of the ingredients and the refined elegance of Japan by using warm colors and soft typography.
As I wanted to promote it as a snack that parents can feel confident giving to their children, I created a roasted sweet potato character to add a friendly and approachable touch.
The result is a design that stands out at local markets and delivers the authentic taste of Japan to Australia.

オーストラリアで本格的な日本の焼き芋と干し芋を販売するブランドのデザインを担当しました。 ブランドのコンセプトは「ほっとする甘さと、からだ想いの自然なおやつ」。 ロゴ・パッケージ・販促ビジュアルを通して、素材の素朴な魅力や日本らしい上品さが伝わるよう、温かみのある色合いと柔らかなフォントを採用しました。子供にも安心してあげられるおやつとしても広めたかったので、焼き芋を使ったキャラクターを作り、より親しみやすさが出ることを意識しています。現地のマーケットでも手に取りたくなるデザインで、日本の味わいをオーストラリアに届けます。

KYOTO MACHIYA COLLECTION

京都町屋コレクション

Kyoto Machiya Collections offers a special experience of “staying as if you live in Kyoto,” allowing guests to deeply connect with the city’s culture by restoring and showcasing the charm of its historic machiya townhouses.
Currently, the brand operates in Fukuon, Zeniyacho, and Kamogawa.

A machiya is a traditional Japanese townhouse style that embodies the aesthetics of everyday life through features such as narrow alleyways, lattice doors, earthen walls, and inner gardens. Through the preservation and revitalization of these historic buildings, we carry their value and beauty into the future.

I designed the Japanese-language website to convey the allure of these accommodations. The design incorporates the warmth and atmosphere of Japan’s rich traditions, while using practical and modern layouts enhanced with carefully curated photography. The goal was to create a website that inspires viewers to think, “I want to stay there someday.”

Kyoto Machiya Collections は、「京都に暮らすように滞在する」という特別な時間を提供し、訪れる人々に京都の文化を深く感じてもらえるように、京都の歴史ある町家（Machiya）の良さを活かしながら再生しの魅力を世界に伝える一棟貸しの宿です。現在は福音、銭屋町、鴨川に展開しています。 京町家は、細い路地や格子戸、土壁、坪庭など、日本の伝統的な暮らしの美学が凝縮された建築様式。そんな伝統の保存と再生を通して、これらの町家が持つ価値や美しさを未来へとつなげています。 そんな宿の魅力をウェブサイトで伝えられるように、日本語のウェブサイトデザインを担当しました。日本の良き伝統の雰囲気はウェブサイト上にも入れ、現代に合わせた実用的でモダンなデザインを伝えられ得る写真を散りばめる工夫をしています。思わず行ってみたいなと思わせるデザインを意識しました。

This is the package design for a series of herb-based seasonings blended by a herb specialist.
These powdered seasonings make it easy to incorporate the delicate aroma of herbs into your cooking.

ハーブのスペシャリストが調合した、ハーブを使った調味料シリーズのパッケージデザインです。 繊細なハーブの香りを、料理に手軽に取り入れられる粉末状の調味料になっています。

CLIANT: IRISH PUB OLD ROCK

OLD ROCK, an Irish pub in Matsumoto City, is loved for its authentic atmosphere and warm hospitality.
Guests can enjoy a wide range of drinks including craft beer, Guinness, and whiskey, along with classic pub fare such as fish and chips.
It’s a welcoming gathering place where locals and travelers alike can experience the charm of pub culture from abroad.

The pub’s dedication to authenticity is reflected in details such as furniture sourced directly from England, and I aimed to bring that same sense of richness and character into the website design.

松本市にあるアイリッシュパブ「OLD ROCK」は、本場の雰囲気と温かいおもてなしが魅力のパブです。クラフトビールやギネス、ウイスキーなど豊富なドリンクと、フィッシュ＆チップスなどのパブフードを楽しめます。海外のパブ文化を感じながら、地元の人や旅行者が気軽に集える憩いの場です。
イングランドに出向いて買い付けた家具など、本場の雰囲気へのこだわりや重厚感をウェブサイトにも反映させられるように意識しました。

FSDC in Niseko is a company that provides comprehensive design services—from district planning to landscape design—based on land use in the Niseko area.
To express their strength in leveraging the local expertise of staff familiar with the land and their close collaboration with the local community, I incorporated a map of the Niseko landscape into the design.
This visual approach conveys the message that they are a true partner in coordinating each project from the ground up.

ニセコで土地を利用した地区計画から、ランドスケープデザインまでトータルでデザインする会社です。その土地に精通したスタッフの土地勘や現地の方々との連携までを得意とする会社であることを表現するために、ニセコ付近のランドスケープをマップにしたものを入れて、一から一緒にコーディネートするパートナーであることを表現してみました。

ASUKA CHEESE

ASUKAのチーズ工房

I designed the packaging and brochure for the “Secret Cheese” once enjoyed only by dairy farmers.

Milk produced shortly after a cow gives birth is called colostrum, and it cannot be distributed commercially. To avoid waste, dairy farmers would use it to make a homemade cheese known as milk tofu. This product is a modern reinterpretation of that traditional cheese.

Fresh milk tofu is marinated in olive oil and wine vinegar to add a touch of elegance. It can be enjoyed as-is, or served over salads or on crackers.

For the packaging, I expressed the irresistible freshness—the kind that makes you want to scoop it straight up with a spoon—by illustrating the cheese on a plate with a spoon placed alongside it.

酪農家だけが食べていた「秘密のチーズ」のパッケージと、パンフレットのデザインを担当しています。 仔牛を産んでから間もない間の生乳は「初乳」 と呼ばれ、一般に流通させる事はできませんが、それを無駄にしないように酪農家が食べていた「牛乳豆腐」という自家製のチーズ。この牛乳豆腐を現代風にアレンジした商品です。新鮮な牛乳豆腐をそのままイルとワインビネガー に漬け込み華やかさを演出していて、そのままサラダやクラッカーに乗せても美味しく召し上がれます。新鮮さをそのままスプーンですくって食べたい！と感じた気持ちをパッケージではお皿に置いてあるデザインに、スプーンを添えて表現しました。

むかわのジビエ

This pet treat is made primarily from Ezo deer captured in Mukawa Town, with the aim of using every part of the animal without waste.
The packaging design reflects the awareness that we are receiving the gift of life from nature, and is crafted to make people want to pick it up and read the story behind it.

むかわ町で捕獲されたエゾ鹿を中心に、全ての部位を無駄にすることなく大切に使い切ることを目指して誕生したペットのおやつです。パッケージには、自然の命をいただいているということを意識し、パッと手にとってストーリーを読んでみたくなるようなデザインを意識しました。

This product is built on the concept of “addressing environmental issues through octopus.”
It carries many intentions—sustainable resource management, supporting fishermen’s livelihoods, protecting marine resources, and delivering a delicious product.

The design focuses on creating an unexpected yet refined impression for a seafood product, using an eye-catching color palette that is rarely seen in the category and a simple, urban aesthetic.
On the back of the package, we’ve carefully detailed the production background and our story, inviting anyone who picks it up to want to read and learn more.

「タコを通して環境問題と向き合う」ことをコンセプトにした商品です。 資源の持続的な管理、漁師の収入向上、海の資源保護、そして美味しい商品を届けること――そんな多くの想いが詰まっています。 デザインは、海産物では珍しいカラーリングが目を引く、シンプルで都会的な意外な印象にこだわりました。さらに、パッケージの裏面には生産背景や想いを丁寧に記載し、手に取った人が思わず読んでみたくなる構成にしています。

KUROMAME KINAKO

黒豆きなこ

For the Black Soybean Kinako package design, I placed a bold, central illustration to immediately show that it is made from distinctive black soybeans and turned into fine kinako powder.
Amidst many competing products, I intentionally limited the color palette to just white, black, and gold, reflecting confidence in the product’s quality.

黒豆きなこのパッケージデザインでは、パッと見て特徴的な黒豆が使われて、それが粉上のきなこになっているのがわかるようにメインのイラストをどんっと入れてみました。たくさんの商品が並ぶ中で、あえて白、黒、金の3色のみで抑えることで、商品への自信を意識しています。

COLORIN FOOD TRUCK

ころりん　フードトラック

This is the branding design for a Japanese food truck launched in Tasmania.
The design incorporates illustrations inspired by the story behind the shop’s name, Omusubi Kororin, giving it a character-like charm that makes it approachable and memorable.

By using a simple three-color palette of white, black, and blue, the food truck stands out at events where red and orange trucks are more common.

タスマニア州でスタートした日本食のフードトラックのブランディングデザインです。店名にもある「おむすびころりん」のストーリーを意識したイラストを入れ、キャラクターっぽさで親しみを持ってもらえるようなデザインにしました。 白、黒、ブルーというシンプルな3色で表現することで、赤やオレンジのフードトラックの多いイベント等でも目立つ存在となりました。
